Status of Women & Girls in Minnesota is an ongoing research initiative by the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota that examines the economic, health, safety, and leadership conditions facing women, girls, and gender-expansive people across the state. Launched in 2009 in partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School, the research uses a gender-race-place equity lens and draws on statewide data and expert input to identify persistent barriers and opportunities for progress. Updated regularly, the findings help inform policy, grantmaking, and community action—while establishing benchmarks to track Minnesota’s path toward equity. Explore the latest report, executive summary, and related resources below for a deeper look at the data and solutions.
