Prairie States NOW has an opening for a representative to the National NOW Board of Directors!

Prairie States NOW consists of members from these states: Minnesota (https://www.mnnow.org/), Iowa (http://www.iowanow.org/), Missouri (http://www.missourinow.org/), and at -large members from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

NOW’s Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization. Members of the board are required to attend a minimum of 4 weekend meetings a year, about half of which are webinars (subject to change).  Travel and lodging expenses for in-person meetings are reimbursed by National NOW.

The current opening would fill the remainder of a term that expires after the 2014 National Conference, after which the board member would be able to run for another two year term.

NOW activists with memberships in good standing for a minimum of two years are invited to submit resumes to Prairie States NOW Regional Director Gordy Gustafson: gcgustafson (at) msn (dot) com.
