LGBTQIA+: Legislation Training

Our legislation training is Friday, 1/21 from 11AM-1PM via Zoom. Committee member Renee Cardarelle (UND) will guide us through an introduction to the legislature, how legislation is created and the Minnesota legislative website. Melanie Sedqi, our MN NOW Legislative Coordinator and Reproductive Freedom Chair, will also join us.
We will apply this groundwork to help us monitor legislation related to LGBTQIA+ issues. The training will be recorded if you can’t make it and is also open to board members and other committees.
