DESCRIPTION:Here’s the thing: Women make up 51% of Minnesota’s population\, but are vastly underrepresented in elected office. When women run for office\, they win at the same rates as men. And when they win\, they tend to be really good at their jobs. \nWe need more people to run like girls. \nAll are welcome to join MSP NOW and The Progressive North for the Run Like a Girl 5k\, where we’ll raise money for WomenWinning\, a Minnesota-based organization that encourages\, promotes\, supports\, and elects pro-choice women of all political parties to all levels of public office. \nEvent Details\n•Location: Como Park on Saturday\, October 7th.\n•We’re offering both a 5K run and a 2.5K run/walk\n•Registration begins at 8:00AM.\n• 5K run will start at 9:00AM.
