SUMMARY:2018 Women's Summit and Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:Join us at a Women’s Summit to discuss feminism\, the current state of women’s rights and some of the realities of what it means to be a woman in the U.S. in today’s political climate. This event features a panel discussion with the female Minnesota gubernatorial candidates\, a viewing of the documentary Equal Means Equal\, and a selection of highly relevant breakout sessions led by local women’s issues leaders and experts. Minnesota NOW activists Kate Fitzgerald and Barbara Mahowald are leading a workshop on Feminism 101 during the breakout sessions later in the afternoon.
