2007 PAC Candidate Calendar

Candidates, please complete and return the Candidate Questionnaire at least 10 days prior to the scheduled PAC meeting. An email submission* is preferable. If you submit less than 10 days prior to the meeting, please do not mail it. You can still email or fax your questionnaire. The PAC members must have time to receive and review in advance of the meeting. For this reason, the PAC can not guarantee rating "last minute" submissions. *Email submissions: candidates can usually copy/paste the PDF text into Word or an editor to make a working document. Once completed, save yours and email it as an attachment or simply copy/paste into the body of a blank email and send.

Minnesota NOW formed a PAC in 1982 to help elect feminist women and men to local and state office - from the library board to the governor.

The MN NOW PAC rates prospective candidates who seek our endorsement.   The candidate must contact MN NOW.   While we try to get the word out through our members, we do not blanket every candidate from every race.  We will also rate more than one candidate in a race if the candidates apply.

Candidates may access the detailed candidate online.   This questionnaire relates to MN NOW's six core issues, plus platform issues as defined by the MN NOW Legislative Committee.  Candidates are rated based on their answers, as well as the degree of leadership they have shown in these six areas.
